I am no theologian. My goal is not to teach doctrine, but to share with you the joy I find in Christ. My prayer is that this joy would become contagious, igniting a longing within you to know Jesus and to follow Him with every ounce of your being.
He really is my delight.

Greetings Eirene,
It is refreshing to see such a desire to know the Lord, like I see in your writing. I thank our God for you and for all the others out there that walk with Him in utter humility and recognize our God what He is, holy; deserving and worthy of our whole being and not just part of our life…
a fellow laborer in Christ,
Christina
Amen!
If a person is ‘saved’ yet not happy in the moment, they are missing the whole point of salvation!
I happen to believe in a ‘funny’ Christ. A joyful man.
I always imagined him telling his disciples;
“Hey, you wanna recieve salvation? Then stop complaining and wash some feet! You gotta start somwhere!”
(in a Mel Brooks yiddish man accent of course. Or maybe Tevye from Fiddler On The Roof)
wonderful blog, Danielle…He promised to give us the desire of our hearts..how wonderful when HE is the desire of our heart…
Glad I found you. I’m subscribing!
Eirene it’s been a while since I’ve heard from you just checking in and hope all is well.God loves you and so do I. 😀
Pttyann,
Thanks for checking on me. This is a very busy time for me at work, but other than that, all is well. I hope to return to my blog soon.
Blessings to you.
Good thoughts. Our precious Christ is beyond words. His presence makes such a difference in a life. AS Paul said,
1co 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
Ro 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.
Again, Good post. thanks.

Eirene, You have a great site here. Im looking forward to reading more of your material.
Thank you for posting about barrenness and fruitfulness in Christ. I found that incredibly encouraging.
Wonderful blog!
I found your site by accident one night when I was suffering a bout of insomnia . Like so many others, I have a medical condition which creates severe pain among other things. When I take my eyes off Christ, it’s very easy to feel sorry for myself, and sing the nobody knows blues. I don’t believe in accidents, the Lord spoke to me that night through the post “when the pain passes the beauty remains”. It’s now attached to my home screen as a gentle reminder to be mindful of where I set my eyes and my heart. Always on Him not me. Since then I’ve shared with others. Your servant’s heart is a blessing. Thank you (:
