But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, That I may declare all Your works. Psalm 73:28
It blessed me so much to meditate on this verse in light of all the various meanings implied by this word “good”. It means that drawing near to God is:
🌸Like looking upon something beautiful
🌸Like tasting something delicious
🌸Like smelling your favorite perfume
💎 It’s like having the best day ever
💎 Like being at your favorite place
💎 Or hanging out with your best friends
💎It’s like hearing the best possible news
💎It’s like obtaining a precious and valuable possession
⭐️It is appropriate and becoming and better than all other things
⭐️It bring gladness of heart and understanding to the mind.
⭐️It brings welfare, prosperity and happiness
⭐️It is beneficial and agreeable
If all of these benefits could be found in one activity, wouldn’t you do that thing all the time. Well do I have good news for you!!!
Draw near to God. Draw near often. Let your life be filled with all this goodness that is found in His presence.
